Worcester & Gloucester Quays make a brilliant combination for a UK short break, especially at Christmas, with two very different places to enjoy at your own pace.
Spend time exploring historic Worcester, with its beautiful cathedral, riverside setting, independent shops and famous Victorian Fayre at Christmastime, before heading to Gloucester Quays, where you can wander the historic docks, enjoy the waterfront bars and restaurants or grab a bargain at the popular designer outlet.

The itinerary
Timings are confirmed 2 weeks prior to departure but here's an outline to give you an idea.
Pickup Points
Merthyr Tydfil College > Aberdare Sobell Centre > Mountain Ash Cynon Valley Bowls > Pontypridd Catherine Street > Cardiff Gate Services > Newport Train Station
Saturday
After your morning pickup we'll travel to the Worcester where you'll have a full day at leisure to explore this wonderful town and it's popular Victorian Fayre. In the evening we'll head to our hotel for the night.
Sunday
After breakfast we'll head into Cheltenham for two hours before heading to Gloucester Quays where you'll be able to grab some lunch or hit the shops and grab a pre-Christmas bargain at this popular Outlet Village.
Finally, enroute home, we'll make a stop at the wonderful Gloucester Services, where you can visit the farm shop and pick up some local produce to take home in time for Christmas.
