What Mynt are doing for our customers affected by unrest in the Middle East
It's been a challenging week for the Travel Industry, and once again, Travel Agents the length and breadth of the country have shown their value by working around the clock to support customers affected by over 20,000 flight cancellations (and counting).
It's times like these (and Covid, and the Eyjafjallajökull volcanic eruption, and many more) where booking your holiday with a Travel Agent really comes to the rescue, the support you'll receive when you choose the right Travel Agency really is crucial, and here at Mynt it's no different.
What's been really important to me this week is to ensure that none of our customers have had to make a single phone call. We've done all the heavy lifting, from speaking to airlines and working with accommodation and transfer providers to get all the work done, whilst our customers simply continue to enjoy their holiday.
All of our affected customers have been booked onto the next available flight home (avoiding the affected areas, of course).
All of our affected customers have been put up in top accommodation - we haven't left anyone stranded in a 3* hotel on the outskirts of town.
All of our affected customers have been given a complimentary eSim with unlimited data so they can stay in touch with friends & family back home without worrying about the cost.
We've also rebooked all transfers free of charge.
We've kept in touch, responded quickly and worked with our customers to find suitable resolutions rather than having a 'one size fits all' approach.
We'll continue to offer this level of support whilst this unprecedented situation is ongoing, just as we'll offer this level of support when the next crisis comes along, and the one after, and the one after...
