Las Vegas

Where else can you dine in the Eiffel Tower, ride a rollercoaster through the New York skyline, take a gondola through Venetian canals and go inside a Pyramid, all without leaving the city? Nowhere other than Las Vegas, and to be honest, nowhere does it quite like Las Vegas either!

If that wasn't enough, then you can shop 'til you drop, hit the casino's, take a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, see as many shows as possible, and SO much more! This is why we LOVE Las Vegas!

Back to Tailor Made Holidays.

Top places to stay

Venice, New York, Paris and more, it's all here...

Las Vegas Holidays | Venetian Hotel room

The

Venetian

The Venetian Resort is in a perfect location on the strip. Not only that, every room here is a suite so you get tons of space. The hotel has it's own canal where you can take a Gondola ride, some great pools and of course, a huge casino.

We've stayed at The Venetian and absolutely loved it!

Las Vegas Holidays | Cosmopolitan Hotel Chandelier Bar

The Cosmopolitan

Possibly the most boujee hotel in Vegas - not only is the Cosmopolitan in a great mid-strip location overlooking the Bellagio fountains, it's a stunner of hotel with spacious rooms, most have balconies which is rare for Vegas and it's home to the infamous Chandelier Bar!

Las Vegas Holidays | New York New York hotel

New York, New York

One of the most iconic hotels on the Vegas skyline and another that we've tried & tested!

The exterior is modelled like the New York skyline even with it's own Statue of Liberty! Inside they have spacious rooms with comfy beds, loads of food & drink choices including our favourite Vegas breakfast, and in our opinion it's the best smelling hotel in Vegas (IYKYK).

Oh, and it has it's own rollercoaster!

Top things to do

See a show, take in the sights, zip line down an undercover street, take a helicopter to the Canyon, there's enough to keep you busy forever! Check out our full list and book online by clicking here.

Piff The Magic Dragon

A comedy and magic show like no other — hilarious, quirky, and full of jaw-dropping tricks.

With his trusty chihuahua sidekick, Piff delivers a night of laughs and wonder you won’t forget!

We LOVED it!

An all-you-can-eat brunch

Vegas is home to some of the best all-you-can-eat buffet brunches in the World! There's a great one to be had at Caesars Palace but in our opinion the one which blew us away was at The Wynn!

Helicopter Tour of the Grand Canyon

Soar above the Strip and into one of the world’s greatest natural wonders on a Grand Canyon helicopter tour. Breathtaking views, thrilling flight, and a once-in-a-lifetime perspective

Zipline down Fremont Street!

A night on Fremont Street is like no other as it is, but you can make it that bit more memorable by soaring past neon lights and live music on this heart-pumping ride. It’s the perfect way to see downtown Vegas from a whole new angle!

Las Vegas kicks off the year with a bang — but then things quieten down for a couple of month except for some key weekends such as the Superbowl. March is all about March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day parties on Fremont Street, and the start of pool season.

It starts to ramp up in April as spring break rolls in and the weather gets good for pool parties. May is festival season, with EDC turning Vegas into the world’s biggest dance floor, while rooftop bars and dayclubs hit full swing. Things then stay buzzing through the summer, with some key weekends such as Fourth of July where you can expect it to be really busy.

September signals NFL kickoff, meaning packed sportsbooks, plus the Life Is Beautiful Festival takes over Downtown with music, art, and food. Things start to quieten down in October and the strip begins to prepare for the Grand Prix, meaning it may look a little different and certain parts of the strip may be blocked off.

November sees the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix hit town, where we'd advise against travelling to Vegas unless you're there for the F1. The months rounds off with Thanksgiving weekend, where the strip is busy and you can do some really good shopping in the outlets dotted around town. December wraps things up with festive décor, ice rinks, and holiday shows, culminating in one of the world’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations on the Strip.
